Otiose weekendly remarks

by Lorenzo Piccoli

A few more additional remarks about Bruxelles, after my complaints about bureaucracy, traffic, and sirens:

1. Africans everywhere. I have been living in four different areas of the city between 2012 and today and people were always telling me: “Oh, yeah, I know that place: that is the African neighbourhood“.
2. Dwarfs everywhere. There really are a lot of dwarfs around the city. I wonder why.
3. Working sites everywhere. It looks like people here do not care about fixing stuff. The most important metro stops have been under renovation for years, not to mention the Court of Justice or the new buildings in the European district.

However, I do like the city better than I did in 2012.
