Rarely have I been as busy as in the last few days. I could survive only because Mindo is an excellent friend, runner, and cleaning lady altogether. I did not have much time to follow the political narrative around the election of the President of the Italian Republic either. I used to like Franco Marini, but he is a divisive figure, clearly belonging to the political class that has ruled Italy for several years. I hardly understand this choice that was made by Partito Democratico’s secretary Pierluigi Bersani and that is dividing the party. Most, if not all the people I trust are frustrated by this decision. It looks like the party is completely out of touch from the world out there.
