Did you fall
on your way?
It’s a long way down.

Where were you boy?
Liffey river, Dublin walking,
the light of the day and colours glaze bright,
I burst so high
Painless with immense distance
I feel so alive.

Welcome back to your place
I hope you know it now
It is not going to be for long.

Ah come on.. show the way
Where are you running now.
Is it lack of restraint
Has you turning round.

I keep having dreams
Of ice and pioneers and ways of life we’ve forgotten
I keep having dreams
Of things I need to do
The path I chose isn’t straight and narrow
It wanders around like a drunken fellow
And I can’t ask for anything more.
