Smooth run – in spite of the expression of pain and dismay on our faces – and then off for a day full of polenta, black cabbage, sausages with tomatoes, orzetto alla zucca, hummus, quiche, gingerbread houses, banoffee cake, carrot cakes, time’s up, wine, grappa, and aleatico.
